This is the only review you’ll need
Clean enough for a comfortable stay, with fluffy towels and soft sheets. The location is truly a gem, within walking distance to downtown. If you're looking for reasonable pricing and decent staff service, this is a solid choice!

The location was fantastic with easy access to public transport and plenty of nearby restaurants. However, the check-in process felt like a scavenger hunt due to the lack of signage.

The family room was spacious, allowing my kids to play freely and have a good time. We found it conveniently close to downtown attractions, making it easy for our family outings. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made our stay more enjoyable.
My children wished there were more kid-friendly amenities. An indoor play area would greatly improve the experience for families.

Location is great, close to restaurants and public transport. The room had some stains and could be cleaner. They did offer bicycle rentals.

great access to downtown attractions and local dining options
I loved being just a short walk away from the Art Gallery of Ontario and enjoying delicious meals at the nearby Queen Margherita Pizza and Lisbon by Night Restaurant, which made exploring the city a breeze. however, the check-in process could be smoother since staff wasn't always available.

Can't recommend highly enough for a weekend
Clean room, comfortable beds, with a kitchenette that includes cookware and utensils made our stay quite convenient while being just 3 km from the main train station.
For us it was ideal.

Nice clean bathroom and comfy bed. The heating worked well, but the photos didn't match the current decor. I'd definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect for exploring the culinary delights around Dragon Gate Inn. I enjoyed the vibrant scene nearby with fantastic food options like Lisbon by Night and Queen Margherita Pizza. The quick access to local coffee spots kept me energized. However, check-in felt like a scavenger hunt with zero signs, which was frustrating. The room had some essentials missing, like towels, and the thermostat didn’t work, making it pretty steamy inside. The broken coffee maker also added to the disappointment, taking away from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The stay was for a family trip to explore the trendy areas of Toronto, and we really appreciated the comfy beds and helpful staff during our time. While the location was excellent for accessing local attractions, the room lock initially didn't work, though it was promptly fixed. The kitchen supplies could use improvement, but overall, it offered a decent experience for our short stay.

A Convenient Stay in the Heart of Toronto
I stayed solo for three nights and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere. The location near Chinatown offered fantastic dining options. While my Junior Studio had a firm, rickety bed, it was clean and spacious. Communicating with staff took a bit of patience, but overall, great value for the price.

Absolutely loved the culinary scene around Dragon Gate Inn! Just a hop away, Lisbon by Night serves up some unreal vibe with flavorful dishes. Queen Margherita Pizza is a slice of heaven too! Plus, the quick access to nearby coffee spots kept my caffeine cravings in check.
The place felt more hostel than hotel—check-in was like a scavenger hunt with zero signs and a grumpy welcome. The room? Kind of bare-bones—broken coffee maker, missing towels, and it was way too steamy without a working thermostat.
